Rocky is again a boss in one point in the game, and Becky is the second player. In Pop'n Pop, a crossover puzzle game developed by Taito, Pocky is one of the selectable characters. Pocky was also a selectable quest star in goofy parody of Space Invaders titled Space Invaders 95 (1995, Arcade, PS2 ) known as Akkanvader in Japan. Pocky was also one of the summonable quest star Bubble Dragons could use, and Rocky was again used as a boss. Bubble Symphony (1994, Arcade, Saturn, PS2, ) had Kiki Kaikai-based world, which featured enemies based on the series. Pocky even appeared to talk to Bubby at the end of the stage. He was disguising as Sayo-chan herself in that game, a role he would use later on in many of his quest appearances (mostly in Bubble Bobble-series.) Later on in the series she befriended with Manuke, a tanooki who opposed her in the first game. The games' setting is Feudal Japan, and had you control Shinto shrine maiden called Sayo-chan, who must use her o-fuda scrolls and Gohei wand to defeat a number of renegade spirits and monsters of japanese mythology, including yokai and obake. It's also one of the first game hit the overseas despite it's very japanese-oriented setting and characters. Well, fret no longer, top-down run-and-gun shoot ’em up fans, because Pocky and Rocky is back in its brand new Reshrined form and, much like Natsume and Tengo Project’s previous work on The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors for Nintendo Switch, it’s an absolutely glorious, beautiful work of modern retro wonderment that simultaneously captures the joy of the games on which it. ![]() The games have been known to be quite difficult despite it's cute design.
